Summer Fun Weeks are dance based mini-camps for ages 3 through 12.  Each themed week is specially designed to introduce your child to different aspects of dance through fun and imagination.   Our youngest dancers meet Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  On Friday of each week we will hold a special performance for parents at 11:00.  Every day includes dance specific warm-up exercises, dance class, creative movement, story, craft, and snack.  In response to many requests we are also offering Fun Weeks for grade school aged children this year.  These dancers will join us on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons  from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.  All Fun Weeks are appropriate for both girls and boys.
FEES:  1st week - $95.00 / Additional weeks - $90.00

Royalty Week

JUNE 10-14                 3 to 6 year olds

What little girl doesn’t want to be a princess?  And how many knights in shining armor are ready to ride into action? Join us this week as we hear about all our favorite ballet and fairy tale princes and princesses.  We will introduce classical music as we create our own dance stories.  Our royalty will practice their very best manners as they hold court and learn to make introductions.  Lots of games and crafts promise a royal good time!

V-I-C-T-O-R-Y Cheer Week

JUNE 17-21           3 to 6 year olds

JUNE 18-20              Ages 7 to 12

Have fun this week learning all about being a cheerleader!  Learn chants and cheer motions as well as some basic stunts and acrobatics.  High energy is the focus of this week.  Guys will focus on learning to stunt and build strength for good base support. This week we will highlight the importance of teamwork as we learn about good nutrition and how strong bodies enhance a positive self-image.  GO TEAM! GO!

Fairy Tale Time

JUNE 24-28             3 to 6 year olds

Everyone’s favorite stories are brought to life through imaginative dance. We will use classical and folk music combined with creative movement to dance our way through such well known tales as Jack and the Beanstalk, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and The Three Little Pigs. This week we dance, act, and sing!

Star in your own music video!   This week you will learn all the moves to make you the next American Idol.  Sing, learn staging and choreography.

All Through The Night

JULY 15-19              3 to 6 year olds

 It’s a week long slumber party at Act Two Studios!  This week explore all about nighttime.  We will become shooting stars as we hear the legends behind the constellations.  What animals are nocturnal?  Who goes to work at night?  Our stories, dances, and crafts will answer all your nighttime questions.

American Girl - American Boy!

June 25-27              Ages 7 to 12

Inspired by the rich history introduced by the beloved American Girl dolls, we dance our way through different eras of American life.  Come see how times have changed and how dances from the past have inspired trends in today’s hottest moves.

Great Ballets

July 9-11             Ages 7 to 12

 Swan Lake, Coppelia, Cinderella, and more! Learn about the world’s most famous ballets.  We will introduce the dancers, choreographers, and composers whose talents have endured through not just decades, but centuries.  Videos allow us to compare and contrast various dancers from different ballet companies performing the same roles.  We will learn some famous variations and create our own modern interpretations.
